Marlan Harris studied English-Creative Writing at Cal State, San Bernardino. In 2001, he was a winner in the Marvel Comics talent search, with the prize being the publication of his story (see "My Favorite Hero," below). In addition to comics work, he is also working on a novel as well as a screenplay.
